A.C.T. Studio Theatre presents Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, David Auburn's "Proof."  Mr. Auburn's play is probably more about the value of trust in relationships than mathematical equations, and mixes in humor with tumultuous emotions.  On the eve of her twenty-fifth birthday, Catherine has spent years caring for her brilliant but unstable father, a famous mathematician. Now, over the long weekend that follows her father's death, a burgeoning romance and the discovery of a mysterious notebook draw Catherine into the most difficult problem of all:  How much of her father's madness - or genius -  will she inherit?  Performances Nov. 3 - 18, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., Sundays at 3:00 p.m.  A.C.T.
