DESCRIPTION:Lessons In Kindness - Pet Suitcase is a Family Fun interactive program to educate families on how to be responsible pet owners. Selected participants will join Jessie Clifford\, HSTC's Director of Humane Education\, on The Lyric stage to choose a pet suitcase bag. Ms. Clifford will discuss the items in the chosen bags and why they are essential helping our animals live a happy and healthy life! After the hands on educational lecture\, audience members will have the chance to engage with Misty's Pals Pet Therapy Volunteers and their dogs. Our goal with this presentation is to educate both children and families that owning a pet comes with great responsibility\, and that it isn't a toy that you can just put away and stop taking care of.
