SUMMARY:FDFC Board Meeting to approve Virgin Trains USA bonds
DESCRIPTION:Thank you for taking the time out of your day to attend the March 6th Florida Development Finance Corporation (FDFC) board meeting on the Virgin Trains USA (Brightline) Private Activity Bonds.  \n\n \n\nAs you know\, due to a quirk in the way the meeting was advertised\, the FDFC Board adjourned their meeting before voting and before giving Brightline supporters the opportunity to be heard.\n\n \n\nThe continuation of that meeting is now scheduled for Friday April 5\, 3:00 pm at the same location\; Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport (complete details below).\n\n \n\nAt this meeting there will be no opening presentations.  They will get right into the public comment\, followed by a Board discussion and vote. \n\n \n\nWe still expect a small but very vocal group of opponents from Indian River County to show up and continue their efforts to stop Brightline/Virgin Trains from connecting to Orlando.  This would be a major loss to statewide mobility and economic development\, not to mention a blow to Central Florida's transportation needs and efforts to improve our environment through clean air transportation solutions. \n\n \n\nWe do apologize for asking yet again for your help.  But I hope you can attend one more time and voice your support so that we can complete this system to Orlando.  \n\n \n\nPlease let me know if you can attend\, and please also reach out with any new questions or if you need new talking points.\n\n\n\nAs always\, we remain grateful for your help and I look forward to seeing you.
