Rivers Coalition members:
At the last general meeting we announced a restructuring aimed at streamlining the organization and leadership to give us the ability to react to our ever-growing membership. This will enhance our standing and ability to effectively achieve our goal of stopping the harmful discharges.
Towards this end we have implemented the following changes: the Leadership Team and the Rivers Coalition Defense Fund Board have been merged into one unified Board of Directors. The organization name has been officially changed to the Rivers Coalition, Inc. The Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws have been updated to reflect these structural changes. The Board of Directors have elected our Executive Leadership Team and have begun the process of seating our operating committees, a list of which will soon be on our website.
We remain committed to soliciting input and support from our membership, and continue distributing positions and proposed actions to keep you informed. To learn more about the transition and ask any further questions, please plan to attend the January 24th Rivers Coalition meeting.
Our Board of Directors and our Executive Leadership Team are listed below.
