Martin County's Ecosystem Restoration and Management staff will be working on facilities at Clifton S. Perry Beach Preserve over the next two weeks. Beginning Monday, February 11, staff will rebuild the fishing pier and utilize the parking lot and boardwalk to stage materials.

The Clifton S. Perry Beach Preserve Project was designed to provide Martin County residents and visitors with nature-based recreational and educational opportunities on the Indian River Lagoon. The preserve area currently offers boardwalks, sidewalk connections to beach access areas, an over- water pavilion, fishing pier and parking facilities. The county will reopen the preserve area upon completion of renovations to the fishing pier.
